I mean I went out nearly every Friday in my 20s in DC… DCZ JUST DOESNT DO AFTERS LIKE ATLANTA LA OR NEW YORK DOES. Did I miss out on a chunk of experiences?

I don’t even know if it’s sheltered. I’ve been going out since I was 18 and in college, I’d legit not heard the phrase afters until I moved down here to Atlanta a few years ago. For the most part I’m done by like 2-3AM if I’m going out at night.

I still want to experience them especially because they can be more extra but at the same time I don’t? I’m conflicted, like slight FOMO but it’s too late to get it back because I’m past that point in my life, but still want an experience 🥲

I get that, I’ve done it once or twice during like pride. And what I’ll say is it can be super fun if you go with your group but I definitely feel like there is a vibe shift. Cause usually if you are still THAT up, you are getting yourself some assistance - no judgement just can change the vibe.
