1941 Play Ball #4: “Duke” Derringer. Paul played 15 seasons and was a six time all-star. He won 20 games for the world champion Reds in 1940 and was the winning pitcher in game seven of the WS. A few years earlier, Derringer had a complete game victory in MLB’s first ever night game.
