Haven't seen any reports linking the two, just noting he had dental treatment last week prior to the Leicester game, could easily be something entirely unrelated

Could be. The Guardian is the only one to mention the two things together but didn’t specifically join the two.

It was apparently prolonged dental treatment so could be related.

My dad’s cancer/tumour was discovered at a dental appointment - so it’s really got me thinking about that and hoping whatever it is Eddie will be ok. Don’t feel excited about today’s game 😔

I had a boss years back who had heart problems after dental work. Oral bacteria can infect the heart sometimes when there's dental bleeding. He was fine but not for a few weeks as it takes time for antibiotics to work. Hope that's not the case here.
