They know just how much truth to put in their lies. They know just how much bullshit is needed and just what angles to take. They’re better at it this game than the Dems are.

Dems had a strategy of trying to appeal to the best in us, to our aspirations. GOP appealed to us (in a politically collective sense) as we are right now in reality. Collectively, we are uninformed, selfish, and mistrustful. They’ve gotten way too good at exploiting that, and playing dirty.

They’ve changed the game, and most Democratic leaders are not only failing to catch on, they’re still actively in denial. Democrats are better at leading the country; Republicans have gotten better at winning political races.

Not only did Democrats lose in 2024 big time, but they’re failing to seize every moment after. How can they have gotten SO bad at messaging? I know some of the answers, but when you zoom out it’s still hard to wrap my head around.
