It’s been rough these last few years, but I don’t have the crippling depression and intrusive thoughts anymore. I am a work in progress with visible success.
At my last in person job I was lifting 30-40 pound boxes constantly and with careful motion and proper motion. I mids the workout.
So worth it.
Sheesh, was she ever wrong!!!
1. pressure from family
2. being tired of facing harassment and discrimination
3. difficulty finding work
Regretting the decision itself: nowhere.
kept getting the thought "all those masks would make this a great time for someone to transition", and a few months in realized "oh wait it's me"
(the decade of asking myself who I was and being unable to answer also contributed)
For me, transition was better than dying.
I didn’t shave mine either. Oops 🤪
