3.5 hours from Vail (left at 11am) to C470. Nearly white out from tunnel to Silver Plume.

Hazmat delays at tunnels because Loveland Pass is closed

So yeah, not a lot of fun…pro tip, fill up on washer fluid, once you get to the melty parts, the splash back I really bad.

And now seeing I-70 closed eastbound at Frisco. Glad we got back when we did.

Gotta think all the slush freezing and more snow with a bunch of traffic means CDOT can’t really even clean things up. Recipe for a mess.

Good snow and a long weekend (for some!) is not usually a great combo for mountain travel. 🎿
