Saw someone (very understandably) annoyed when people assume an AMAB nonbinary person is a "transfemme in waiting" and I just want to gently remind everyone that we simply do not have a term that can refer to trans ppl who have similar life experiences along assigned gender lines that everyone loves

It's okay. I don't "try" to present any particular way, but I've always dressed more masc bc sensory issues. I mostly look like a hirsute cis woman, and I get dysphoric about it. But I don't even count as trans, bc I "could" pass (I can't) even if I wanted to.

This feels like NBs are getting the Bi shit all over again. When will the community learn that the "in-between" identities aren't actually in-between and are just somewhere else on the spectrum that happens to overlap a lil with others in some way or another.

Yeah I'm not sure why either, tbh. It's been frustrating trying to explain to people that- while I would 110% get gender-affirming surgeries-even HRT (Can't afford it. ). If someone put a gun to my head and said to truthfully say I'm *anything but* non-binary, they'd just have to blow my brains out.
