When will we realize that “the meat literally falls right off the bone” is not the compliment that it’s intended to be? Oh you cooked some sort of shank for a long time? That’s what happens! The meat would fall off your bones if you were baked at 300 for long enough

I prefer to say "the bone literally slides right out from inside the meat."
To overcook something without burning it requires a short attention span and a rabbit hole that ends at just the right moment.
