Every game of FreeCell is winnable. That's why I like it. In regular (Klondike) Solitaire, it's entirely likely that the game is unwinnable from the first card dealt. Once I realized that, I stopped playing Klondike and switched to FreeCell.

My dad was ADDICTED to this game. Literally played it hundreds of thousands of times.

He even found a way to "cheat": If he was about to lose a game, he'd open the task manager and close the program from there, and it wouldn't affect his win streak.

I've been addicted to FreeCell since playing it for the first time on my mom's laptop running Windows 95. It took me a while to figure it out, but after that I became a pro at it. I can plan like 5-7 moves ahead of time, which is helpful in the long run.
