I thought getting access to System Shock 2 Enhanced was going to be a lot more of a pain than it was. I guess I just have it now. I'd say this has succeeded; the new gamepad interface isn't bad but there's no quick-med-hypo button and I keep accidentally toggling on Lean Mode.

Do employers see it as a red flag when an applicant answers all of the voluntary self-disclosure questions (race, sex, veteran status) as "decline to answer"? By all rights that information's none of their business, to be learned during an in-person interview only. They gotta earn that knowledge.

Dreamt I was doing some unclear "work" on a laptop in an empty former Toys R Us building. Rambling about headphones to nobody resulted in Frank Cifaldi appearing and handing me an expense form to fill "for your birthday." Then I noticed how late it was and walked home through an airport parking lot.

Computer Gaming World's November 1996 issue, The Top 150 Games of All Time, has a bunch of other sub-lists. My favorite one is the 15 Best Ways to Die, and you can tell Quake had just come out. Some less-known picks in here (Rocket Ranger), but I have yet to verify if this Les Manley one is real.
