Chevron is cutting 6,000-8,000 workers by the end of 2026, 20% of it's total global workforce in an effort to save money. Meanwhile, Chevron CEO Wirth’s pay rose to $32.7 million in 2024, a 23.4% raise, while median annual compensation for Chevron employees fell 6.8%.
