The lane stuff is just him being as fast as you can be off the ball combined with the occasional miss from officials - the nonsense about moving your foot is from one person.
and he's doing a very good job of obfuscating whatever the actual cue is that he's coaching.
Like do you think a guy could just hang his foot out there and not have it called until he set it down? That's obviously not the case, the stated cue from the refs is nonsense.
Guys are just keeping the back foot on the threshold of being "set" and jumping 'early' because they end up being set and right on time way, way, way more often than not.
