We have time until March 31st (and HR will force you to use them). Overtime is always paid out (only exceptions are cases like mine where I have 400+ hours.)
in fact, in some places your employer can get in trouble, if you /don't/ use your leave, like some will actively lock you out of your computer/email etc. if you haven't used your leave by the end of the year.
Most companies have internal mandates where u need to submit 60-80% of paid leave of the current year by end of February for review to ensure absences during the year don't happen at critical times. Most companies I worked at I had to take all days in the current year & HR would remind me to do so.
My first job out of college (retail) gave us 5 days. Then they'd close for a week in the summer, and told us if we wanted to be paid that week, we'd have to use our vacation days.
Only 10 days in Canada too. Usually another 5 days after 5-7 years, but I have yet to reach that as I usually get laid off at that point. I know nothing other than just trying to survive. It's exhausting.

I have 32 and get X days as bonus for overtime (when I reach another tax group. Like I get XY money and 3 days so I don't have to pay more).
And "infinite" paid sick leave (up to 6 weeks for the same illness)
I do something wrong here..
Okay i had 2 days because my wisdomteeth got removed.. but imo that doesnt count as "sick"
27 (legal + 2 bonus from my employer)
1 from seniority
12 from overtime
5 that I didn't take last year
4 legal days for contract or civil union
(+ 10 unpaid leave because why not, a day without working is a better day)
In April i get some bonus days on top.
