Even looking it up you can see there's been nearly 80 coups/coup attempts in the past 20 years, with over half the total attempts in Sub-Saharan Africa. So much so we even see term "The Coup Belt" came to fruition.

I know the Korean legislature can Override! the declaration of martial law, but I am unable to find out if they are required to approve it before the declaration has been made.
