Been over that bridge so many times in my life but never looked up its age. Not the oldest bridge but still old. 😊

Cringleford Bridge, once the main route in & out of #Norwich to & from London.
Once a timber bridge, but this was destroyed by a flood in 1519.
The present bridge was built in 1520 and you can still see the Medieval brick & stonework today. It was later widened in 1780 and restored in the 1970's
