Unplug the cables. Put some hand sanitizer on your palm and run your hand down the cables. The alcohol will quickly evaporate and leave the bitterness behind. It takes the fun out of biting the cables.

I have 1 that goes for my phone charger cable. I buy 6 at a time. Went through the last 6+2 from the local store in 3 weeks! The other cost me 2 computer chargers before I found the cover thing. Now I hear him chomping but he can’t get through it 😈. They also chewed the cord to the auto-feeder. 🤬

I had a cat that electrocuted itself, was a night table lamp cord and thankfully I heard the snap, unplugged the cord rushed her to a vet for resuscitation, in the middle of the night. She lived. To this day, I always check electrical wires for chewing.
