Effective new managers take time to understand the org and systems they are taking charge of before enacting major changes. Barging in with a flamethrower is what terrible managers do...or arsonists. The new administration is likely both.

One of my best friends and coworkers was told he’s most likely going to be laid off tomorrow because he’s a probationary employee
