I can't call him a rapist unless he was convicted of the crime of rape. Regardless he still openly admits he cheated (his version of events).
2. Hypocrisy is the platform, so there's no point in pointing it out as as a flaw. For Trump and company, they openly flout "I'm a hypocrite, vote for me!"

I totally get what you're saying, that BEST CASE scenario, Mr. Family Values fucks around and doesn't care how it hurts his family. But "claimed" seems to subtly tilt perception towards questioning her veracity.
It's that the people who DO preach family values still support them totally and completely.
It's kind of like the Catholic Church after all the abuse scandals. Who can take them seriously as moral authorities?
