I was just at Career Day at my son's middle school, asked which poems they liked from their poetry unit. One mentioned "o me! o life!" by Whitman and his reason prompted me to read THIS David Whyte poem, instead of one of my own lol

It’s an acquired taste for me, growing more important as I get older. So nice to come home from a hectic day at school and sit down for a few minutes with a book of poetry. 😊

I love that!! Poetry is so great when you only want to spend just a few minutes with something, I can read a good handful of poems in a few minutes, but I don't want to disrupt a novel with tiny bursts of reading.
