We all know what it should actually be doing. Taxing wealth in order to bring inequality under control. Putting the wealth taken from society taken by the rich back into the hands of everyone. When will centrists admit that the only struggle is between class, and that the workers have the numbers?

I am not saying that PIP needed to be looked at again. There needed to be work from the charities implemented into a review, such as the 2011 'Employment and Support Allowance Work Capability Assessment review: Making it work for fluctuating conditions'. Yes for ESA, but question asked is the same.

Very much a 'political' decision. Changes to PIP mean that potentially someone could score 3 throughout the daily activities section of PIP showing a clear need of support but because they have not scored a 4 in any one area would be deprived of support. Would be poverty by any sense of the word.

So while some care leaver gets to (barely) survive on £70 a week

correct – thousands of business owners/directors & partners all enjoying shares/dividends at 12 to 20% for their personal expenditure – fair enough if it’s for investment but it’s not- they are spending it on their Porches & Ferraris while the rest of us PAYE are paying through the nose at 40 to 45%

Prem we need Labour MPs to disobey the Whip when voting on cuts that kill. I know you are in the other house to the commons but there are spaces in the Palace of Westminster where the two houses mix. Please can you encourage those you speak to, to have courage & disobey the Whip when necessary?
