Does HMRC not have enough staff? There are dozens luxury cars where I live that are obviously the proceeds of drug dealing. There are hundreds of barbershops that are used for money laundering. I can point out a mansion that was built that in the 3 years it was built, rarely sees a parked car...

Generally speaking, the mega rich seem to think that they should be exempt from tax. And the govt is ok with that.
But if a paye person misses a tenner it’s jail!
This country couldn’t now be more unequal if we tried.
