No not really, I’ll campaign for it. The Govt leaders declaration that they will ‘maximise economic growth’ is utterly disingenuous. We are European and need a strong & effective trading partnership with our nearest market and re attract inward investment. Other tin pot trade links are meaningless.

Discussion on PEM Convention today is welcomed. When it comes to customs union and RoO, the subject can be conflated. There is more value in a Single Market Agreement. Aligning on European regulations is far more important, especially for reducing trade barriers.

I do follow it but across all media there is no clear understanding of what is happening - it’s a mass of contradictions. Gov needs to clearly tell us and act fast because Trump is causing untold damage and we need secure trading with EU
