Well there were plenty of those according to the talking heads the first time around. And it never fucking mattered. That it is a constitutional crises will not matter here either but it should still matter that it could be hugely disruptive to people’s lives and well being.

I think it's that they're stupid AND lazy. Like, an evil-but-not-stupid admin would do all their homework and this would be an order the size of several phonebooks documenting what specifically they want cut. Instead they're like, "Uh ur green new deal" which doesn't even exist.

Two years ago, maybe you’re right. Bur think about how close we came just a month ago to a majority of the House of Representatives voting for an indefinite recess, abdicating all of their duties as a legislature to the president. Zero chance he gets impeached until midterms at the earliest.

There’s no mechanism but impeachment (or resigning in shame but pfftahaha he has none) for bringing the Pres to heel. A party will not impeach their president under any circumstances.
