I once made a NPC necromancer that was just a very curious scientist who researched necromancy to be able to raise a workforce; she had a mummy who carried her on longer trips (or just her shoppings) and had several zombies working in her garden (they were good at fertilising).
😆 Could they perhaps help her with a bit of a problem? She lives in a small, abandoned dwarf mine and the stone is so cold 🥶, could they perhaps help procure some blankets she could use for tapestries and some REALLY thick carpets? Some zombies can help carry, if that would help…?
