Agreed on Primeau. I don't see anyone claiming him the way he's playing.

I feel similarly about this game as the last good that it's a regulation loss and the right players are scoring

Good read Brian. I don’t necessarily agree with you that the #Habs did not match the Bruins level of competition. I found that as the game went on they were taking the play to them. The game was much closer than what the final score showed.

I think if they’re going to waive Primeau (and I agree that it’s time to make this move) they should have a contingency plan for Laval should he get claimed. That’s not easy but it should be achievable.

Unfortunately, they handed the kid the job and he has shown he’s not up to it.

Even after 2 losses this weekend, we saw a lot of encouraging things in the #habs game. Better forecheck and seem more engaged physically. If they keep playing this way,the wins will come. Yes we need some help between the pipes .

Primeau isn't going to improve when he only plays 1 every 4 games. Granted, his play hasn't warranted more games, but it can't be easy getting into a groove.

What comforts me is that the acquisition cost of a back up goalie during the offseason doesn't seem that high. Organizationally it might be rough (losing Primeau on waivers) for this season but we'd have the cap space and assets to replace him come July easily. I think he needs to go back to Laval.
