You'd think after 40 years of hearing the same damned Christmas songs over and over I should know the lyrics to them? Turns out I know a lot of first verses and very little else? How.

There's some good stuff buried in later verses. Eg We Three Kings contains the iconic Christmas lines "Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying / Sealed in a stone cold tomb"
Odds are good that there will be lyrics pertaining to white snow, gifts, trees, decorations, loved ones, cheer, Santa, mistletoe and the kissing that transpires underneath
And the line “once a year” is bound to be in there too
Sing those subjects in any order and you’ll be about 70% accurate tbh
