Not at all. That’s why it’s inexcusable to say Murphy deserves the benefit of the doubt. We all saw Trump cuck Rubio, Cruz etc for a decade now. They all bent the knee years ago now and if you’re able to be fooled into think Rubio has a spine you’re kinda not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Appreciate his owning up to a disastrous choice. But the jaw-dropping claim of trust in Rubio (or any other Trump appointee) is either shocking naivety, or plain mendacity. I suspect the latter, and the vote for Rubio was simply because the Senate is a club where moral/ethical issues are secondary.
