They'd better -- if Putin gets Ukraine's resources under his belt, thanks to Trump's Putin-worship, he'll get a boost that will energize him to take another country. And another. And another. This doesn't end well.
I hate Russia and I hate Putin and I wish we could just nuke them. But we also have to be rational and realistic and see things from Russia’s viewpoint.
U have acknowledge with humility the reality of Ukraine. It’s fighting against a much larger stronger wealthier adversary who has credible reasons to fear Ukraine’s membership into NATO.
If both Ukrainians and Western Europeans truly want Ukraine in NATO, then they should foot the bill. It’s time for Europeans to maybe lower their living standards and vacation length and contribute more to defense. Let them handle Ukraine.
The two countries that Ukraine in trouble were UK and USA who encouraged the NATO membership deal despite credible threats to Russia, which is a country that is already in economic and political distress.
There is history out there to read and get to know. The russia/Ukraine history did not just pop up recently when NATO was formed. It goes back hundreds of years. russia wants either a slave state or for Ukrainian people to cease to exist. Ukraine deserves to be a free and independent country.
Agreed. But let the filthy rich always on vacation Western Europeans pay. Let them help Ukraine. Let them increase their defense spending. Let them be the police.
Europe is realizing they cannot count on the US right now. They are concerned about the nuclear umbrella the US has provided for Europe. They also see that another country can invade a free European country and what that means for their safety. They will protect Ukraine as much as they are able to.
My man, it’s not about Trump licking Putin boot. It’s mutual agreement: Putin helps Trump win and in exchange Trump helps legitimize Putin by giving him parts of Ukraine and withdrawing US support.
The other factor u need to consider is that TBH, Ukraine is not a priority for the US. The real priority for us is our real threat: China! Our involvement in Ukraine has been a distraction from more important matters such as containment of China.
The US focus has been way more on the conflict in the Middle East for the last year, to the benefit of Putin. Also it's not possible to divide "China is more important than Russia" etc. They work together, China, Russia, NK and Iran. And in that fight USA need to work together with the EU.
Sadly yes. Israel has always been America’s biggest moral and financial liability and a big reason behind all of America’s Middle East wars and national debt. It’s the parasite that is going to suck every last drop of America’s blood. It’s the main reason why the whole world hates America too.
U r correct. Russia Iran NK China work together despite having no shared values or anything it that’s because of America’s fucked up foreign policy that’s based on irrational anti-Muslim anti-Arab American sentiment and irrational approach to Russia.
I suspect a majority of Americans want to continue their support with the coalition of Nation States to help Ukraine. That is other than Mr. trump’s naive incoherent policy. Appears to me that Putin has been remarkably successful at buying support. Oil money paying the few against the majority.
Why aren't people talking about this? Ukraine, we did a Treaty with them. Art. 6 Constitution "supreme law of the land". A Treaty has to pass Senate by 2/3rds. Trump doesn't have the authority to back-out of a Treaty by himself. Are we LIARS and BETRAYERS? Reneg on a Treaty, we are.
First of all, after US election it has become clear that we have no other choice.
Secondly, we keep our word to our allies, understanding that alliance is not a transaction. It’s a matter of honor and principle.
Ruble trading has been suspended at 113... after being tossed out the window a couple weeks ago! the 3-day SMO appears to be going well! 2 more months of this! Crash and burn imminent, hopefully!
It is completely lost on MAGA how Putin interfered (again) in the election and they could care less as long as they “won”.
Putin is a former KGB agent. trump is a flunkie. Putin has his sights set on taking over the USA. He didn’t go through all he did to hand it over to a buffoon.
Can’t trust Trump to do the right thing. Sadly.
My hope for Ukraine today is that Biden joins other leaders in Europe to unfreeze the seized Russian assets that are worth multiple billions, & allow Ukraine to use the $$ 4 their military ops, then use the rest to rebuild after they push Russia out.
Should Trump do the unthinkable and pull us out of NATO, I think our allies should pull a DeGaul & kick us out of European union territories and bases.
For their national security, it is imperative not to include Trump's administration in any secrets.
I was just about to post something about this very thing. It’s sad all our allies have to regroup their own militaries and strengthen their alliances amongst themselves because they are counting on the U.S. to side with Putin. This makes me sick! I will NEVER refer to that man as my president.
Just as the USA did not back down to fight dictators in europe (WW2), Europe will not back down to fight dictators in Ukraine. The USA has to fight dictators within first.
That is my only hope. Trump is definitely a bootlicking coward. My heart breaks for the brave people of Ukraine. I never thought we'd become an Axis power because eggs and Fox. 🤬
might be some hope for Ukraine if ass kissin putin proves bad for the cameras trumpjesus sure doesn't need him or anyone else to win another election What the fuck has America done?
They will. Poland, Czechia, the Scandinavians, the Baltics, and to a lesser extent, the French and Brits, will lead the charge. Hopefully, the Koreans and Japanese understand a beaten russia will make their number 1 enemy(china) infinitely weaker. I'd take such an alliance over a feckless US any day
Germany will continue their slow drip support. Air defense systems, those refitted leopard 1.5s, etc. But, they will not lead the charge for Ukraine. Germany's ties with russian money/kleptocracy is too entrenched. And I don't see their political system becoming more pro Ukraine. If anything less.
I need to do more research on German politics, I don't have detailed knowledge. I was never under the impression that Germany was going to lead anything regarding Ukraine, they have not come across as being particularly worried about it unlike the Nordics and Poland.
Europe, Britain and Scandinavia are fully in. By the end of 2024 Europe as a whole will have caught up to US production levels to the US the first time since the cold war. It's a turning point.
Oddly enough, trump could turn this back on Putin because we’re holding all the weapon/cash cards. Putie can’t do jack as long as we provide Ukraine. And I believe trump will squeeze every drop from Putin for as long as he can.
Everything he does seems to be to weaken our systems and destroy us. This is but one example. He is going to take as much money for himself as he can get his hands on while leading us on the way to our destruction.
If I were twenty years younger and unmarried, I would have already departed and offered my services to Kyiv. America won her independence in part to foreign-born volunteers like Lafayette, De Kalb, Kosciusko, Pulaski, and Francisco.
I think the EU and NATO are going to support Ukraine minus the United States. I think for the next 4 years the United States is going to be ostracized by the rest of the world save dictators of course
Everyone says that the NATO Chief s visit to Margo largo was to hand an olive branch but I say it was a message. This guy started out as a prosecutor at the Hague and Denmark' PM and hates Putin for shooting down the passenger airliner over Ukraine. Want to guess what his message was to Trump?
What choice do they have. It is a matter of their national security. They don’t want Russia banging on the doorstep of Europe. I also heard many North Korean soldiers were surrendering to Ukraine. Ukraine has permission to go deeper into Russia with missiles as well.
I'm worried tRump will be successful this time around withdrawing the U.S. from NATO. Even though the alliance says he can’t withdraw unless Congress approves. But he always finds a way to get around the law.
From Politico:
"Legal experts warn that Trump could try to sidestep Congress’s NATO guardrail, citing presidential authority over foreign policy — an approach he used before to bypass congressional restrictions on treaty withdrawal."
How long before his impatience in the war not ending because of [his stated] Ukranian intransigence, that Trump puts the US thumb on the scale, by providing arms and/or intelligence to Putin to help vanquish Ukranian resistance to his invasion?
This is a man who is without a doubt; A Russian asset!
And for what; Ego boost, power and money.
And for a bonus, he gets his charges dropped!
Way to go Trump lovers!
Im glad you and other people care about this thx 🙏🏻
We will for sure and I'm sure Europe finally step up and maybe become the super power we could be with more then 500 million citizens.
I know my country Denmark will keep supporting to.

When USA figures out a way to b liberated from the grip of Israel & grow some balls maybe we will all do better.
Until then, everyone bows to the ugly fascist corrupt Natanyahu.

Dawn of Evil.
Trump WON’T be licking Putin’s “boots”.
He’ll be licking something ELSE on Putin. 🤮
