I felt really bad, phoning up COSTCO today to ensure my first year's membership was not renewed.

Stuff for the kids for school lunch but I stocked the deep freezer. Dried beans.

Agreed. I’ve never seen so many people today (Sunday) in the grocery store. For a second, I thought I’d made a mistake and had forgotten the Super Bowl shoppers but then realized “no” — no game today. People are spooked. As they should be.
Went there this weekend. Never seen the line that long. We go around the same time and day off the week. Take it as a data point, but target was dead in comparison.
We went to Costco for the first time ever this past Saturday & we had to wait in line to park & to leave the parking lot. I was like, "Is this normal??" Maybe it is.
