The threat of one major disease with one universal response (at least in the beginning) and all hands on deck to stop it.
But no more.
Effects on children (my focus) will be greater orphanhood, greater instability, more education harms, increased learning loss, decreases in life opportunities, worse jobs and incomes.
They don't care about anyone, so death and suffering is just fine with them. They use anything as an excuse for their priorities; a feature, not a bug.
