Irys originally had another name, back when she served the Kingdom of Baron on the Thirteenth. She doesn't care to remember it however, as her name now is in homage to the person she loved and was sworn to protect.

Sororo Cobbledee was named by his adoptive Goblin mother. She found him with no note, no information, no nothing; and thus, named him Sororo - a simple name paying homage to the Lalafell naming conventions, and Cobbledee; the surname she adopted for herself after leaving her clan.
Boring, but all of my WoLs get their names from their parents. Not much else to tell because there are no special meanings or hopes or anything like that behind them.

Instead, she was given a nickname from one of the crafting guilds, and now all of Eorzea only remembers THAT name.
(I didn’t intend to play her permanently so I used a silly name, and yeah. So I retconned it!)
His birth name is Duffy Teague Jonah, a reference to a demon captain that once sailed the Cieldalaes.

“Hollowheart” was made up in a panic when she had to put something down when registering as an adventurer.
