Multiple women have been prosecuted in the last five years after decades without a single prosecution. If you want to do something, write to your MP ahead of the decriminalisation debate at the start of June.

Shout out to @gemmaclark.bsky.social who organised the petition and secured the debate in June.

Two MPs are also putting forward bills that would decriminalise abortion and put an end to these prosecutions.

But you have to ask why prosecutions started to happen at all.

Yes. If you read the rest of the thread you’ll see I’ve shared the tactical actions people can take to support the bill.

In the meantime multiple women and girls have been dragged through the courts.

I’ve no time for people who think policing bodily autonomy is OK sometimes.
