Korea also has these bad boys — bus “eco shelters”. Heated in winter and air conditioned in summer, with all your bus info on a big screen.

On my first and only visit to Seoul twenty years ago I noted that Korea embraces and integrates technology into its world like nothing I had experienced before. This culture directly benefited them in their approach to COVID-19.

The most spectacular heated bench must be in Jeonju. It's not even in the center and has no cover, it's incredibly unremarkable. When I sat waiting for the bus (November), a super cozy heat came out. I thought I was hallucinating, I swear there wasn’t a single trace of soju in my body. SK is magic.
