My family in PA is on Facebook, but I try not to do too much there, and I never click on any ads. I actually followed Alt National Park Service here, since they may get bounced from FB.

Bluesky itself doesn't block people but there are lots of user-created block lists that keep the worst garbage people from ever reaching you. And of course you can block people individually and play with your own user settings.
