Dads: that four-month sleep regression’s a real kick in the balls isn’t it? Two weeks of middle-of-the-night wake-ups (just when you think you’re past it and you have the best sleeper in the world for a daughter) so far 😑

Oh yes. I never tell new parents about it just in case they brace for something that doesn’t happen - and you don’t want to put a downer on things either - but it hits hard.
We did sleep training around 6 months - apparently that’s the earliest they recommend - and it was a life changer. Horrendous to start with, but after a few days we’ve never looked back.
7 years on and he sleeps 10 hours a night absolutely fine.
I'm talking a few days where it feels cruel, and isn't easy, but for us it paid off and has been fine ever since. And then a Gro clock when he got older, which also has a digital clock on now that he can tell the time.
If you can get something sorted for sleep everything feels a lot better!
