It is going really badly for Star Citizen. Their funding is drying up. Fewer backers every year. They can't afford to retain critical senior staff and we are in year 13 and core mechanics are still in alpha phase

It's unreal to me that Star Citizen donors watched that mocap trailer/short film with Henry Cavill and Gary Oldman and screamed "fuck yeah!" instead of "hey wait a second, why did the company spend millions on these celebrity hires instead of actually making the game?".
