I worked at a Biggby Coffee once, I was only kept on during a training period where i was paid less then minimum wage for three months. I wasn't hired afterwards because I didn't have a drivers license and was told I wouldn't be reliable to work 6 hours by myself without a manager, which is illegal

I agree and almost all of the time try to find another option or wait, but sometimes there isnt. Until about a month ago my town only had a starbucks as an option for coffee. Obviously the baristas are there, it would be helpful to hear what we can do in instances we do use a starbucks.

What people often dismiss as "entry level" or "low-skill" minimum wage jobs tend to be incredibly exhausting and time consuming. When I worked in a store organized by UFCW that had a Starbucks kiosk I remember seeing how hard the baristas were working.
