At least in Victorian England, fruit was considered "too rich" to give to children. (read this in an actual historical book, not Wikipedia, but I forget where. )
some fruits were and some weren’t, things like apples, pears, plums and oranges were considered common food for the most part even if you were dirt poor you could normally access them
Things like pineapple, bananas, grapes and melon were luxury fruits & often displayed rather than eaten
children mainly did get fruit on special tho (literally used to get it in their christmas stockings) or families would pick the “most viable” of their small village sized family to spoil with better food while the rest got the bare minimum or nothing at all
What about a monster energy drink smoothie that has sourpatch kids, skittles, sorbet ice cream, airheads xtreme gummy strips, cookies and cream ice cream, redbull, sea salt caramel, marshmallows, powdered sugar, chocolate syrup, with graham cracker dust, and sprinkles on top?
