True story. When my son was about 3 he had a hard time with the "K" sound and substituted the "D" sound for it. We were at a playground kicking a soccer ball, and he gave a real long kick. In a loud, proud voice he yelled for all to hear "I had a big dick, huh Dad!"

As a toddler my autistic son used to say “forks” over and over. We didn’t think too much of it at the time as it was one of a few things he used to do. It wasn’t until we were waiting for a bus and an old lady started giving us evils that we fully realised what it sounded like.
