Everyone should connect with Indivisible today. Join local group. Thank goodness we have Bluesky with which to organize. When Elon bought Twitter I thought our organization might collapse. Stay indivisible! No factions please in the anti-fascist front. PLEASE. Indivisible means ‘can’t be divided!’
I hope, I wish, in the future there need to be tables at every single event like this registering voters. Too many do not vote. And without votes, protests are meaningless.
Great idea to have tables registering voters at the demonstrations. BTW, it’s important, America, to pushback on the Faux News and let them know the people WERE NOT paid by George Soros to demonstrate. Trump’s MAGA’s may need pay to show up, but WE fighting for democracy, just show up!
So proud of Spooner!!! We had a cabin up there and spent the summers there. The fish my grandpa caught was proudly displayed at The Buckhorn, I assume it’s still there. Thank you Spooner, I miss you!!!
No, but we can peel off some Republican Congress members if they feel enough pressure from constituents and if they get it that they will be seen as being on the wrong side of history. It should give them something to think about by seeing how committed we all are to defending democracy.
An estimated 5 million showed up today! 👏
Next confirmed Call to Action date: April 19th!! Why this date? It's the 250th anniversary of the battles of Lexington and Concord, which began the American Revolution = our war against the tyrannical power of Kings!!
Me too! Especially the mid- to small-sized towns, just everywhere, and the huge rallies and marches in the cities and state capitals. Wow. I feel good.
It’s hard not to feel some joy and optimism tonight. Turns out that all The People needed was an organized outlet to release the anger and frustration.
That does help because seeing the anger coming in (which is justified) is disheartening for the reasonable Americans, and fuel for the MAGAts. It just adds "evidence" to Tя☭mp's rhetoric that "Europeans hate Americans."
Thank you for sending us the love and encouragement right now. We need it.
We were out in ruby red St. Joseph, MO. Honestly, way more support than I expected—but yeah, plenty of MAGA folks too. Pretty on-brand with the 10-year-old lifted trucks, revving engines, and rolling coal.
Big love to everyone who came out and everyone showing support.
It's unfortunate that mainstream media is so fearful of Trump that they haven't covered them as they should. We should have been seeing coverage throughout the day.
From the small towns to the big cities…….so inspiring. What struck me the most was that all types of people were participating, young people, older people and everyone in between. Everyone has a horse in this race. Everyone understands the challenge and has risen to it. Today was a spectacular day.
Mine too! I'm so proud of all the folks uniting around the WORLD today for Freedom over Fascism! #resist #revolution #freedom #united Thank you Freedom Fighters!
My husband and I were genuinely looking to run, but this gave us hope that we are, in fact, not alone. One lady had a sign saying to keep their hands off her queer kid, I said I wished I had 1 parent like that, we both cried in s hug. It was amazing!
I’m absolutely in awe of the protests and the American people. Feeling much more hopeful. If Trump wants a fight, he’s got one- I know that after today. Way to go, USA!🇺🇸
People don't understand the strength it takes to protest in a small community where your daily life and livelihood involves (and depends on) almost everyone.
A huge "Hats Off" to the small town protesters, some of the bravest of all.
Here is the small rural RED farming town of Adrian, Michigan that I told you about, Jess. Tim Wahlberg’s town. These rural areas need to be addressed by the Democratic Party. Hands Off rally was a start!
I finally saw one in a small town a bit ago. WV town of 4500 in very red area with about 50 people. We had about 400 in very red New Port Richey, FL, pop. 17,800.
In my little town, we marched past a restaurant w/outside seating. A woman was openly sobbing, saying over and over Thank you! Her son & husband were clapping as we walked by. I got a bit misty eyed myself. Chelan, WA.
Thank you for sharing this! I am so thankful to everyone who got out there and stood up for all of us. The messages of support from other countries were also so heart warming! We are all together in this fight! 💙
I protested in Lansing, MI.
I’m catching up on the other locations and kind of
overcome with emotion. Not sure what gets me more: huge crowds in Ny or Boston, or the unexpected tiny towns in red areas showing up. Keep going💙
Hi watching from Czech Republic, moved back home after 15 years living in US and my heart is with you all. I pray that after all is done America will finally adopt all the social policies that are totaly normal here! High taxes on rich, free childcare, free universal healthcare
and true democracy😍
Same, I'm in Indonesia, where it's Sunday, and I couldn't wait to wake up and see the pics and videos. I was scared it would be a tiny turnout, but I am so glad I was very wrong!
Ten of the eleven U.S. recessions between 1953 and 2020 began under Republican presidents.[3] Of these, the most statistically significant differences are in real GDP growth, unemployment rate change, stock market annual return, and job creation rate.[4][5]
The unemployment rate has risen on average under Republican presidents, while it has fallen on average under Democratic presidents. Budget deficits relative to the size of the economy were lower on average for Democratic presidents.[1][2]
Since World War II, the US economy has performed significantly better on average under the administrations of Dem presidents than Rep presidents. This difference is found in economic metrics including job creation, GDP growth, stock market returns, personal income growth, and corporate profits.
We had about 2000 in Topeka!! One reporter said it was the largest of his 40 years of reporting there. We went, it was amazing seeing and hearing people find their voices and feel their power!
My favorite. It’s almost like BIG STRONG MAN…is SCARED LITTLE BOY🇷🇺☦️🪆How long before his clubs are fenced in. We will have effectively put him in prison, we just need to get the codes

BUT DON'T LET ANYONE PUT THE IDEA IN YOUR HEAD THAT PROTESTS ARE MEANINGLESS.
3-5 million Americans showed up yesterday. Some of them for the first time.
And they saw others like themselves.
Concerned caring people.
That matters.
The whole day in #Denver was amazing 🇺🇲
(The end of the march)
America needs us all.

Sweet hope has collectively returned.
