It helps that Naomi and Alex are so obviously people who would make valuable friends in real life. At this time of trouble, trust is perhaps the most important quality in public discourse - the BBC's, for example, is now shot to pieces - so it's good to be able to rely upon a podcast's hosts.

Hitler promptly received a letter in reply from King Christian thanking him the extremely kind proposal, but King Christian’s letter went on to explain that he was extremely busy being the head of state of Denmark, he didn’t think his schedule would permit him to be head of state of Germany as well.
