Anyone who isn’t monetarily productive without accommodation is of no use to those who feel that the only purpose of the masses is to make them money.

Those of with disabilities that don’t allow us to work are of absolutely no value to them. Including the disability of age.

Step 1: lump it into existing plan of DEI.
Step 2: after dealing with all those "DEI" humans, go after the disabled ones.
Step 3: no more ADA.

At least that's how I'm seeing it. Sneak it into the hububub now, start seeding the Accessibility as the next Terrible Thing.

I think this post is very much not helpful and shows a distinct lack of understanding. I wasn't involved, but I do know good people are doing their very best under incredibly difficult circumstances. I also know it is not unusual for content to come down, go through review, and come back.

You're right. There are often good people doing things they'd rather not, and if that's the case, knowing that others feel the same may be helpful.
The fact the removal is in response to an Exec Order rather suggests it isn't coming back anytime soon though.

Maybe, maybe not.. I have no insight. But I do know of cases where things came down, went through some review, and then went more or less right back up.

I really don’t think people are blaming the public servants at the sharp end of this. Everyone can see what’s happening and why. The point is not that it’s being reviewed, it’s that it’s being removed and reviewed for a very stupid reason.

I feel like the downvotes are not so much aimed at the project or the author of the PR, but rather the exec order. People don't like that this is happening, probably the author of the PR included. I feel like the downvotes are in support, even though that might seem backwards.
