Nah. The Boys is satire and not a spoof - those aren't interchangeable terms. What you're referring to is irony, and it's used a lot in satirical works.
I do like RoP too, and am anxiously awaiting them to officially announce it, but it still has only been internally greenlit as far as Amazon is concerned, we only know of the internal greenlight from interviews

Appreciate the answer! If that ever changes, you’ll have the attention of a sizable number of us. As a whole I think the fandom tries to engage a lot with the coverage we happen to get, but can’t fault it much if the numbers were low before 😅 and definitely looking forward to more updates on RoP!
Wheel of Time is actually airing in March, and it’s a pretty huge show. Much larger than most of those listed. I hope you’ll decide to cover it in the future. There’s a sizable online fandom who would very much appreciate it.
I would’ve speculated that maybe the hate engagement pushed many off covering it, but RoP gets a lot of the same energy so idk. It’s never been as big an IP as LotR as a whole, no doubt there, but from experience I know the show fans are great at boosting any coverage we luck into so 🤷♂️
