Serious question, I've been genuinely wondering for a long time: what exactly ARE the copyright rules for real people? From what I've seen entertainment-based celebrities seem to be "protected" while politicians and other more serious figures evidently aren't.
And even then we have stuff like South Park openly taking explicitly personal life-based shots at people in the former category with impunity. Given that, how can ANY depiction of a famous person possibly be illegal?
