Did anyone here actually read the book? Aegon's Conquest is a great setting for a show and fans were asking for it a lot a few years ago. Not sure why everyone is suddenly so mad about this.

Love the world George R.R. Martin has created so keep’em coming. So long as they are thoughtfully adapted & well written then I’m all for it. I really still hope they make that Jon Snow season so we can have a sort of redo proper finale 😂. End of S8 was rough.

No HOTD covers the Dance of the Dragons which takes place long after Aegon's Conquest. Yes HOTD is in the same book but it's like halfway through the book or slightly further in.
