Getting gross profit take is usual for director-producers as Hollywood studio accounting will keep any net profit shares from ever occurring. They claim expenses aren't recouped on their biggest hits. Nobody does a net profit deal if they don't have to. This woman is ignorant as well as racist.

Directors and producers should by default have so much more ownership of what they create. It's not the film studio. That puts all of that work together. That's just where it happens. And it's sad, did all of the attention on this, is because of his status as minority.

Yeah, I wouldn't say most star wars fans are toxic fan boys,. but even if it's a smaller percentage than other fandoms, bc the star wars fandom is so large the actual number of toxic fans dwarfs any other fandom I can think of. And they negatively impact a lot of recent star wars
