Awwww…this is sad for two reasons:
1. I loved the absolute WTF that was the Belgian playoff system.
2. When I’d see someone on Reddit talk about how things are done “in Europe” when they really mean “in the EPL”, I got to go full pedantic nerd on them and say “Don’t watch Belgian football, eh?”
