No cos you'd be missing three of my books and all my books are stupendous.

Is it advisable to go straight from @joeabercrombie.com First Law trilogy to the Age of Madness trilogy without reading the other First Law books?

I've read them all - The First Law Trilogy first (twice), then The Age of Madness, then the three sandwich books. Age of Madness (particularly A Little Hatred) was my favorite. They can be read out of order, but if you don't read First Law to start you miss out on quite a few (AH HA) moments.

I must say I started with Age of Madness and then the others (in order), and truly enjoyed that way, discovering where those characters came from.
And shame on you for bringing up the glorious Shev-Javre team and don't give them a full book.

😎 I’ve just ordered the first Trilogy and the three stand alones in Hardcover 😎 I want the AOM trilogy in the UK covers (Hardcover) but seems to be only the U.S. versions around (where u can get all 3). I’m in Australia. U.S. version is nice too. Just love the UK covers more.

I made the mistake of reading the trilogies out of order. I heard good things about them, and went to the library, saw "1" on the back of A Little Hatred, started reading, and was already sucked in once I realized it was the second trilogy! I'm on the First Law trilogy now.
