Delighted to announce that you can preorder signed US hardcovers of The Devils, along with holy relics based on the internal art from Joel Daniel Phillips, at Lit Escalates. joeabercrombie.com/more-weapons/

We are beyond thrilled officially reveal our special edition of The Devils by @joeabercrombie.com himself! 😈

Broken Binding have announced a signed special edition of the Devils to sit alongside the Waterstones one. However will you pick...? joeabercrombie.com/choose-your-...

The Devils is out in less than three months now. Just saying.

I'm coming to France in April. It's only gonna be a quick one, I'm afraid, likely a Paris event and an appearance at Trolls and Legends festival in Belgium. I'll announce that when it's all firmed up...

I am willing, here and now, to acknowledge the existence of Kansas City.

Classic tour dates reveal response.

UK tour dates for the Devils have been announced. Further details over here... joeabercrombie.com/the-devils-u...

Just finished writing the last chapter of my next book. If only I had written the other chapters.

One of the most fascinating types of review to me is the one that goes, "fantastic, amazing, changed my life, two stars."

I did an interview with Anthony of CuriousKing, who is currently making the amazing letter press editions of The First Law, and Zach from the Collectible Book Vault, about writing, reading, and fine press books. www.youtube.com/watch?app=de...

This year I have resolved to work absolutely all the time but in an incredibly scattergun and inefficient way. So just like every other year, basically.

By the dead, I'm 50 years old today, and my subversive maverick fresh punk sensibility remains undiminished.

Just got an email from a reader asking me to please not die soon. I mean, I wasn't planning on it...

Christmas holidays! Amazing. I can finally get some work done.

Of course they liked THAT book, cos that book was brilliant, but will they like the piece of shit I'm writing now?

The professional novelist must constantly struggle with the most profound questions of existence, such as: 'have I just spent 6 months writing a pile of shit?'

A little internal art by Vance Kovacs from Curious King's letterpress edition of Before They are Hanged...

I could've written another book in the time I've spent tramping angrily around the house looking for my shoes.

I find it's not so much killing your darlings as carving them into a preferable shape...

I use this quote all the time when I'm telling everyone how like Michelangelo I am.

I love nothing more than taking a shitty, bloated, unfocused first draft and hacking it right down. Truly, the scissors are the writer's most powerful tool.

Is it a coincidence that the storm warning sounded at the precise moment @joeabercrombie.com was opening an envelope of The Devils pins? I think not.

Definitely a pinch me moment being sent one of my most anticipated 2025 books & from one of my favourite authors 😭 I'm so grateful & so excited! (Not pictured was me falling over in my utter excitement and nearly breaking the candle 🫠) @joeabercrombie.com

He's recording it in the next couple of weeks, I believe.

No it's an understated, introspective novel of ideas.

Yeah but bear in mind it's a copy of Last Argument of Kings with the cover round it cos the book hasn't actually been printed yet...

They’ve proofed up the UK cover. Pretty stunning looking book…

30th anniversary of PlayStation? But does that mean I'm ... OLD?

Today’s Devil is Jakob of Thorn: Templar, Crusader, Marshal of Danzig, Champion of the Emperor of Burgundy, Papal Executioner, but labouring under a terrible curse…

No cos you'd be missing three of my books and all my books are stupendous.

If you see this, post a photo of a beach from your camera roll

So Arcane was great, overall. It's left me feeling a bit bereft, missing the characters, like a great book does, which I find is rare with film and TV. Superb animation and design, voice acting and visual imagination, but the 2nd season felt rushed and overcrowded...

I’ve got 10,000 signature sheets to sign.

Cover for the Spanish version of @joeabercrombie.bsky.social 's The Last Argument of kings, illustrated version I made with Runas Ed. The whole project icludes 6 illustrations + cover #thefirstlaw #jezal #bayaz #glokta #adua #logen #digitalart #fantasyart #fantsybook #noai
