So Arcane was great, overall. It's left me feeling a bit bereft, missing the characters, like a great book does, which I find is rare with film and TV. Superb animation and design, voice acting and visual imagination, but the 2nd season felt rushed and overcrowded...

Everyone quotes the “If the penalty for a crime is a fine, then that law only exists for the lower class” line from one of the first battles in FFT, but I rarely see as much praise for the end game that greatly raises the stakes.
Still a great show and I'm going to miss it.
Something like "Hextech reactor meltdown" might have worked better if you only had one season to wrap Piltover vs Zaun up.
I kinda see it as a "set up and let the dominos fall" between s1 and 2.
I would have preferred the S1 s approach but it still set a high bar.
The stuff is still in there, just crammed together. I noticed the stuff mostly on a rewatch.
Also, I wonder how much DMT, LSD or Shrooms the visual artists for "the other dimension" and Hextech has been taken for inspiration.
Awesome visuals!
BTW: Stranger-Comes-Calling is one of the most badass names I’ve ever read in Fantasy.

But yeah, nonetheless, it remains a real great show.
I didn't mind the whole philosophical part, I just hate that they replaced the political themes set up thru the entire series with it.
It helped that they could tell whole stories within a song montage a few times and not make it feel dull
